The Hindu festival of Diwali was celebrated by the Hindu community around the globe on the 7th of November this year. While people from different parts of the world and different religion wished their fellow Hindu friends a “Happy Diwali”, the most prominent wish was from Sheikh Muhammad.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who is the Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and the Ruler of Dubai, posted a tweet both in Hindi and English language to wish Diwali to the Hindu community and tagged the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

“On behalf of the people of the UAE. I wish @narendramodi and all who are celebrating Diwali a happy and joyful festival. May the light of love and hope shine on us all.”

In response to the kind gesture, Modi replied likewise. He gave forth a tweet in Arabic language thanking the Ruler of Dubai for remembering them on the special occasion
